Flemington Primary School World War One Honour Board

 

 

An Honour Board commemorating the servicemen and women who served in World War One was erected at Flemington Primary School in 1920. This board lists the names of 143 service men and one nurse who lived in the Flemington, Kensington, Newmarket area and either attended Flemington State School or had an involvement with the school.  23 of these men died in the Great War,  6 of them at Gallipoli.

 

John Angus, James Carless,  Robert Morrison, Stanley Vaughan, Leslie Williamson and  William Wills died on the 25th April 1915.
