Performing Arts News
Term 1 Overview:
During Term 1, Foundation, 1/2 and 5/6 students will be exploring a range of emotions, moving through the zones of regulation and learning to take on audience and performer roles. Students will be exploring improvisation, working together in a scene, and creating short didactical roleplay to convey a moral or lesson. All grades will practise following our school values by moving safely in the Performing Arts space, using kind words and supporting each other to perform.
Assembly Performances:
To practise being performers, students will be showcasing their performing skills in assembly this term. We will have a range of performances - from music ensembles to improvised scenes. Our Performing Arts Captain Cameron Fairweather will be helping with coordination and leading the performers. We hope to see you in the audience!
