Term 3 Overview:
This term Foundation, Grade 1/2 and Grade 5/6 will continue their Auslan education. Grade 1/2 have Auslan classes for the first time this year. They will be learning alphabet, colours, feelings, animals and things around the house. Grade 5/6 students have already learnt about zoo animals and fruit, and will learn about WH questions, how Auslan signs are formed, and many more useful topics.
Support Auslan at Home
There are many ways to support the learning of Auslan at home. This includes asking your child to show you what signs they have learnt. Try asking them to count to 20 in Auslan or fingerspell your name!
