Chess offered as an extension opportunity through Chess Education Victoria at our school site.

Students are able to participate in classes at school with teaching and support from highly qualified and experienced tutors.

Classes are of 45 minutes duration with homework offered each week. Class/session times are offered after school on a Tuesday for students in grades 3-6 with Dave and Phil and at lunchtime on Thursdays for students in Grades 1-2 with Nick Speck, former Australkian Junior Champion. The cost is $7.00 per week payable a term ahead. Trophies and certificates are awarded at the end of each season and Interschool Chess Competitions are offered to capable students in Term 4.
